We are a Christ-centered Anglican Church charged by the word of God to make disciples of all nations. We do this through compassion, love and accountability.
We, as Christ Anglican Church Los Angeles, want to thank God for taking us through a rough wilderness experience to the present place He has brought us. We know He has not yet finished with us. He has indeed brought us to a place we can call our own- “Our Rehoboth.” We have learnt a lot as we have been pruned by the Master so we can bear fruits that will abide and as well bring glory to Him.
We have a mandate to proclaim the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and we gladly invite you to join us in this mandate and making disciples of all nations. Love, compassion and accountability are the veritable means we employ to achieve this mission, and we are confident of God’s promise of being with us and using us to express the fragrance of His love throughout our communities.
Our Joy & Transition
Christ Anglican Church Los Angeles, fondly known as CACLA, has come a long way since the Spring of 2013. We are a proud member of the dynamic and most evangelical Anglican communion world-wide, the Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, led by His Grace, The Most Rev’d. Dr. Henry Chukwudum Ndukuba, the Archbishop, Metropolitan and Primate of All Nigeria. Here in North America, we are also a proud member of the Church of Nigeria North America Mission (CONNAM). By the grace of God, we are like a house planted on a solid rock, divinely positioned for ministry, serving graciously under the Area 1 banner of the Pacific Missionary Region CONNAM. which includes Southern California, states of Idaho and Montana.
We want to use this opportunity to specially thank God for the endearing servants of God, whom He used to bring us to this solid estate: Venerable Chukwuma Ubadinobi, our first Supervising Priest, and Sir Nnodu Ojukwu, whom the Lord used as the foremost Catechist and Bishop’s Warden to lead this Church through this transition. They were able to do this with the collaboration of the Vestry and Church members. Nonetheless, CACLA has been blessed by the presence of Venerable Dr. Nwafor & family. He serves as the Rector of Christ Anglican Church Los Angeles and Canon Missioner, Area 1 Pacific Missionary Region, CONNAM. His passion for God and His word, the commitment and willingness to serve, and exemplary leadership has been a blessing to us. We pray the good Lord continues to equip Him with every grace He needs to fulfill His role among us as a true steward of God’s manifold grace.
Finally, we express our gratitude to everyone whom the Lord has used to put this Church in the right direction. We pray you will continue to strive with us in prayers and continue your support to us as we serve in this mission. Our hearts are enlarged and open to as many who would want to join us in this mission. We pray that your presence will be a blessing among us so that God alone will be glorified. We believe God ordained the family to glorify him. We are committed to cultivate an atmosphere which promotes spiritual growth within the family by reaching families with the gospel, discipling them in Christ-like character and teaching each family member how to fulfill their God-given role.
